Staying at Above the Blue Eco Lodge is a special experience that we have devoted ourselves in to making an unrivaled holistic experience. The property is a collective owned by a small group of carefully selected investors who joined together to unify their voice and influence to ensure only sustainable practices would be used for all future improvements and hoped to prove that a sustainable model can be the cornerstone of a profitable enterprise not a factor requiring a mitigant. We shared the goal of protecting the 20 acre property from irresponsible development. We used our collective influence to create a wildlife and biodiversity corridor at the base of the Osa Pennisula, and this is what most of the lands use is still today.



Building what's Possible




All construction was conducted with the utmost care for the biodiversity and critical marine habitats and fauna present and to preserve the property in an undisturbed state as much as was possible. . we sought to include each villa with its surroundings instead of merely placing into their surroundings. It was never about what was easyor convenient, we have instead placed highest importance on preserving the raw beauty of its natural jungle, beach, mountain and mangrove coast environments while currating luxury appointments into each villa which we hope feel like they belong in that wild beauty and not juxstiposed. Each is uniquely positioned and designed for its special location and while each villa has distinct features they all share an identical level of luxury.
